Privacy policy

What we store

Your business details, clients, quotes and invoices are stored only in your browser (localStorage) on the device you use. We don't receive or store them on our servers.

Cloud backup (Pro, optional)

If you use cloud backup, your business details and documents are encrypted in your browser with a key made from your licence key before they're uploaded. We store only that encrypted copy, linked to a one-way fingerprint of your licence, and we can't read it. You can delete it any time in Settings → Cloud backup.

Licence checks

If you activate Pro, your licence key is sent to our licence endpoint, which checks it with our payment provider, Dodo Payments. We don't log or keep it beyond that request.

Payments

Payments are handled by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. Their privacy policy applies to the information you give them at checkout. We never see or store your card or bank details.

When you buy, renew, cancel or get a refund, Dodo Payments sends us a signed notification so we know about the sale. We use only the event type, amount and reference numbers to notify the site owner; we don't store your name or email address.

Hosting

QuoteKit is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes standard request information (such as IP address) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Analytics

QuoteKit doesn't use cookies, advertising or tracking. If we add privacy-friendly visitor counts (Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies), we'll say so here.
